Background
Kim C.
Clinic Administrator Assistant

Kim is from Papillion, NE but grew up in the small town of Battle Creek, NE. Her love of all animals was very evident since she was a young girl. From befriending the neighborhood stray cats to talking about starting a dog rescue with her dad, she cared about every animal that she crossed paths with.

Kim moved to Omaha in 2005 to finish her college degree in Psychology. Her educational work included training the challenging dogs at the Nebraska Humane Society so they would get adopted. In 2010, Kim started to really jump in to her love for animals and rescue by becoming a foster home for a local dog rescue. She loved working with the more challenging dogs, so in 2017, she took classes and taught at the Nebraska Humane Society for 18 weeks, to become a Certified Dog Trainer. Kim’s passion for rescuing dogs has not stopped at fostering. She became the Medical Coordinator for a local rescue in 2017 and a board member in 2018. When she isn’t busy with rescue work, she is at home with her two pug furbabies, Kyra and Blaze.
