Rachel grew up and still currently lives in Crescent, Iowa. She’s known that she’s wanted to help animals since she was in kindergarten. She finally made those dreams happen in 2017 when she started her journey to become a veterinary technician and later graduated from Iowa Western Community College in 2019.
While she works with small animals on a daily basis, Rachel breeds, raises, and trains performance American Quarter Horses as well as competes in barrel racing with them in her spare time. Her love for animals grew during her 10 year membership in 4-H where she showed horses, rabbits, chickens, cats, and dogs, and she received numerous grand championships with her dog at the county and state level. She also currently has three rescue pups, Molly (a Chow Chow/Husky mix), Willow (a Great Pyrenees mix), and Nugget (a Pit Bull/French Bulldog mix), and a rescue cat named Richard.
